We are proud to be celebrating 10 years since we launched Reed Wellbeing. Established in 2015, Reed Wellbeing is a trusted provider of integrated and standalone health and wellbeing services, working in partnership with commissioners such as NHS England and local authorities across the UK to deliver joined up health and wellbeing services.

We do this to improve outcomes, tackle healthcare inequalities, enhance productivity and deliver value for money. We also support with tackling complex social challenges such as providing early interventions to help those with preventable conditions and supporting those with long-term conditions or mental health issues.

In 2015 Reed Wellbeing began delivering its first service supporting adults in North Lincolnshire with weight management. Today, Reed Wellbeing has diversified to provide a wide variety of services across England, including smoking cessation and diabetes prevention, using its evidence-based, personalised approach to help thousands of people improve their wellbeing, become healthier and reduce their risk of serious disease.

Our services are delivered through our teams of dedicated Health Coaches, who combine clinical expertise, behavioural change techniques and a personalised approach to support individuals to achieve a sustainable lifestyle.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, our services faced challenges due to social distancing rules affecting ability to provide critical face-to-face support. With many individuals accessing our health and wellbeing services also being in high-risk groups due to health conditions, it was vital for us to find a way to continue delivering our services to those in need.

Our teams worked quickly to adapt our offering and develop online sessions that could be delivered remotely, allowing participants accessing our services to take part in sessions from the safety and comfort of their own homes. Today, we still offer online services to those who require them to ensure that our services are accessible to all.

We’re proud to have reached this significant milestone and we are excited for what comes next for Reed Wellbeing. Recently, we began delivering the One You service on behalf of Kensington and Chelsea Council and Westminster City Council. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to use our experience to support the residents of these boroughs through a comprehensive range of health and wellbeing interventions, including quit smoking support, weight management, physical activity programmes, NHS Health Checks, and support to drink less.

As we move now into the second decade of Reed Wellbeing, we are looking forward towards the new opportunities on the horizon. We have seen great diversification in recent years, with new services being delivered in partnership with new commissioners and partners, and we hope to continue on the same trajectory into the future. We are as dedicated as ever to supporting individuals and their communities to live longer, healthier lives.

Over the coming month, we will be sharing more about the work of Reed Wellbeing in celebration of this milestone. Keep an eye on our channels to find out more:
